I live in the Vancouver, British Columbia area. I NEVER buy gas in BC. It is ALWAYS cheaper in Washington State. I know several other people who do the same. The wait at the US border can be anywhere from 5 minutes to 2 hours. I am sure they all buy gas and groceries and other product when they are there. The Canadian dollar is inching up, too – which only makes things cheaper in the USA. I gassed up about a month ago, when the Canadian dollar was about 5 cents lower than it is now, and gas was still cheaper.
