It’s just an excuse to rake in more taxpayers’ money.
If those drinks were so bad they would be banned, not taxed.
I don’t think you’ll find many people protesting this other than those who want to score political points. Fizzy drinks are totally empty calories and only do big comanies any good. Governments need to tax something, we have fat kids and adults, help solve two plump birds with one stone.
