Interesting contrast between Ft McMurray, heart of the oil patch, and Quebec, recipient of billions in so-called “equalization” payments, mostly oil money.
Sadly, some Lefties believe that Canadians are a bunch of sheep. There are plenty of Canadians that do not fall for the climate scam, wind turbine scam, or any other scams related to these atrocities! Our numbers are growing rapidly!

Looks like the CBC “corrected” the earlier article on their web site. ” In fact, the study found that 61 per cent of respondents believed the earth is getting warmer partly or mostly because of human activities. ” That’s more in line with CBC official policy. 😉
Change “knowledgeable” to “gullible” and you have the whole story.
As a Canadian, I take offense to the statement: I think it is because Canadians are less knowledgeable than one might think on the topic”. This shows Mr. Lachapelle’s ignorance. Just because a lot of Canadians are skeptical does not indicate a lack of knowledge, particularly when you have a geneticist like Susuki speaking on climate change like he was an expert. What is causing climate change? The only thing I know is the climate has constantly been changing since the beginning of time and will continue until the end of time. Besides, I have yet to hear form these climate change advocates, how they know what the perfect climate is and where it exists. By the way the CBC is a left wing public network which strongly support the climate changers and the enviro terrorists.
