Mitigation and adaptation are two different beasts.
Adaptation means coming in out of the rain; mitigation means using an umbrella.
What the greens are after is enough of our money to try to make it stop raining.
Given the appalling discrepancies between models and measurement, I don’t really buy that they are “gifted” at both. [/snark]
