M. King Hubbard, the “father” of peak oil, the rage in the 1970s. I think abiotic oil (i.e. naturally produced in the earth) may be the correct understanding–“fossil” fuel may be a misnomer.
@ David Middleton – true, but nobody ever went broke predicting doom.
Just goes to show: don’t believe the so-called experts with their doomsday scenarios, they are really just trying to sell a book or get some government grants. History tells us they full of it!
The last sentence is belied by the graph, which show no sign of a ‘seasonal slowdown’ that affects gas prices.
