Glad I’m not a catholic anymore—they were hypocrites then and they have gotten much worse.
In that very same encyclical, the Pope attacked abortions. He wrote: “”concern for the protection of nature is also incompatible with the justification of abortion.”
That did not and will not get any mention in the MSM. Any lawsuit brought to enforce that portion of the encyclical would be treated savagely by the progressives.
