NASA climate boss Piers Sellers uses his stage 4 pancreatic cancer to push global warming hysteria.
You can read his New York Times essay here.
Here are a few quick points.
Sellers ironically writes:
However, climate hysteria skepticism is growing not dying; strengthening not weakening. Every poll and election show this. It’s why Obama is forced to unilaterally ram his climate change agenda through the EPA and executive orders.
Sellers is also quite the cynic.
In an earlier NYTimes op-ed, Sellers wrote this about information from satellites:
Yet Sellers and the rest of the climate clowns at NASA and NOAA willfully ignore the satellite temperature data that has been collected since 1979 (and which show no or markedly less warming) in favor of the dubious and fiddled with surface temperature station record.
We all know that the climate models rate a big “FAIL,” yet Sellers has likened their reliability to that of Newtonian mechanics:
Sorry, none of these statements are those of a scientist or public official acting in good faith.
No doubt, Sellers’ health plight is very sad. But that is not a license for attacking others, misrepresenting reality and abusing public trust in a quest to impose his personal political agenda on the rest of us.
The legendary assertion that bumblebees cannot fly was made using Newtonian Mechanics. The logic and calculation was correct – as far as it went. It was wrong because the assumptions were incorrect – the model was incomplete. The assumption was that the bees have rigid wings.
It was the mathematical MODEL of the bumblebee that could never fly.
It proved that bees with smooth, rigid wings cannot glide.
This guy is astronaut and anyone on the payroll of manned space flight is brainwashed. The program self-justifies any expenditure and ROI is irrelevant.
