The greens are trying to take over the world by persuasion, but the reality check comes when the people and the ruling class really get to see the bottom line – trillions of dollars to be paid by a few hundred million people who have other things they really need to spend their money on rather than enriching ‘green entrepreneurs’.
To quote Tom Lehrer, “Sentiment will not endear it – what’s important is the price.”
