Keystone XL requires Eminent Domain violations of private property rights. That’s the reason to oppose it. I actually think Obama wants Keystone because it will strengthen the Unions. This is like the so-called “free trade agreements”, which is just government-regulated international trade. It’s a Trojan Horse for bigger government. Get the government out of the way, and the private sector will supply plenty of oil.
