About water contamination. The Big Horn Basin in Wyoming was targeted recently by EPA in an attempt to ban oil exploration (fracking) there, using the contamination argument. It was immediately disproven and disgraced. But I worked for 2 months out of Powell in the late 70’s long before any oil exploration and the water was so foul we would go to an artesian well at the foot of the mountains and fill our containers with good water to drink and make coffee. I suspect EPA seized on this condition to make their arguments.
