  1. Prosecute, it is as simple as that. The data is not a matter of national security, it is a matter of public record.

  2. The entire admin. branch of the government is acting like they are an aristocracy not answerable to the Great Unwashed who pay their salaries.

    Any employee that tried to say the data on a company computer was HIS and refused to produce it would find himself escorted to the door a second later. Same policy should hold true for any and all branches of the government except for the military.

  3. The sticking point on that argument is that the one under subpoena doesn’t get to decide when they’ve complied with the subpoena.
    That’s the whole point of actually having been served with a subpoena.
