I think they want to turn ‘scientists’ into free-range chickens, able to find food only at the authoritative feeding station and well protected against falling bits of the sky and capitalist foxes.
R.S. Helms – always follow the money. If my job depends on producing information that is desirable to the regime, then I better try and find that information….whether that regime is “big tobacco,” “big pharma,” or “big government.”
Now, this is a welcome change, providing they do their job (I mean actually use good data not manufactured). With science, it depends on what their money resource is.
