China is already headed down the self-destruction road. 35 years of the ‘one-child’ policy has shifted their demographics towards a much older average age for the population.

There is also an acutely unbalanced sex ratio – in some districts as much as a 40% excess of males over females is seen – due to ‘selective childbirths’.
