Anything to do with ” man made” climate change issues should receive full scientific vetting that is a least comparable to what engineers must understand in designing and running complex systems. This includes full understanding of the verification and validation process that the models must have gone through. Mandatory full vetting of the data must occur that goes into the models with calibration standards that can be trace back to National Bureau of Standard. All data and model details should be available to anyone that has an interest. Without these steps, scientific vetting has NOT occurred and the public should be made aware these major deficiencies.
