UN wants $30 billion to stop ‘desertification’ of land area the size of 4+ Californias

Supposedly 12 million hectares are lost each year to so-called “desertification.”

The UN wants $30 billion over the next 15 years to “combat desertification and restore denuded land and soil.”

That’s about $17,450 per acre. No wonder the UN only has about $8 million in pledges — only 97% of the way to go!
