The Democratic Party is a “Carbon Liar’s Club” supporting the man-made global warming hoax. It has been that way since President Obama came to office.

Honesty is a vital content of one’s character which was envisioned by Martin Luther King, Jr. over a half century ago. Truth matters. Absolute truthfulness and honesty absolutely matters. Yet, very few Americans seem concerned about dishonesty. Americans should not and must not tolerate dishonesty in its leaders.

Americans learned in elementary school that carbon dioxide is vital to life on earth. On December 7, 2009, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) issued an “endangerment finding” that carbon dioxide threatens the public health and welfare of current and future generations. This EPA “endangerment finding” is contrary to the truth. It is “the Big Lie,” a deliberately false political finding on which is based the entire Democratic climate policy and agenda.

There are other Democratic lies about carbon dioxide. The Democrats lie that 100% ethanol (E100) emits no carbon dioxide.

Democrats lie that gasoline is “dirtier” than ethanol. The truth is that using ethanol emits more carbon dioxide into the air than using gasoline. The carbon dioxide content in a gallon of gasoline is 19.64 pounds, and the carbon dioxide content in a gallon of ethanol is 12.73 pounds. But, ethanol gets low mileage because it has so much less energy. A gallon of ethanol has only 76,330 British Thermal Units (BTUs) of energy. At , a gallon of gasoline has 120,524 BTUs of energy. Thus, for every 76,330 BTUs of energy burned by driving in a vehicle, U.S. government data shows that ethanol would emit 12.73 pounds of carbon dioxide, and that gasoline would emit (76,330/120,524 x 19.64 =) 12.44 pounds of carbon dioxide. QED: Using ethanol emits more carbon dioxide into the air than using gasoline.

There is a long list of sources of carbon dioxide, including wildfires, volcanoes, deforestation, carbonated beverages, barbecue grills, fireplaces, the exhale of humans and animals, among many other sources. Democrats cannot provide a scientific report which says that petroleum and coal are the ONLY sources on that long list of carbon dioxide sources which are causing this EPA-made false hazard to the public health and welfare of Americans. Such a scientific report simply does not exist.

What was the man-made event in 1950 which caused the sudden increase in carbon dioxide concentration in the air? Democrats have no reasonable answer to this question.

If increasing carbon dioxide causes global warming, why did increasing carbon dioxide cause global cooling from 1944 to 1950? Democrats have no reasonable answer to this question.

Democrats have made many false statements about carbon dioxide which are intended to mislead and deceive the American public. This deception has worked, just as Joseph Goebbels, Hitler’s Propaganda Minister, stated, “If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it.” The falsehoods are so numerous that the Democratic energy policy actually conflicts with the Democratic climate policy.

These lies have done great damage to our Constitutional mandate “to provide for the common defense and promote the general welfare.” Because of the Carbon Liar’s Club, the United States is dependent upon foreign oil imports. Last year, foreign oil imports were 46% of total oil demand, which was much greater that the foreign oil imports of 19% of total oil demand before the disastrous 1973 Arab Oil Embargo. A Second Foreign Oil Embargo tomorrow would stop all transportation and bring our nation to its knees. We sent $236 billion to foreign countries last year for their oil. This creates an imminent threat to national security. Americans cannot afford to tolerate political leaders who lie.
