New York Times falsely reports reviewers of new EPA climate report to be ‘independent’

Take a look at just the first “independent reviewer.”

Here’s the new EPA report.

The New York Times’ Coral M. Davenport reports that the seven reviewers are “independent.”

Note the first reviewer listed is Don Boesch. Not only does Boesch have a personal history with EPA, his University of Maryland Center for Environmental Science is a recipient of EPA grants. Also check out Boesch’s cheerleading-for-EPA Twitter feed.

Doesn’t seem too independent to me.

I don’t have time tonight to check the others, but I at least checked one more than Davenport did.
