From the industry’s perspective, these guidelines are unrealistic. Europe’s petrochemical and refining sectors have already suffered from attempting to cut emissions providing the worst example of what can happen if you try to cut emissions.
Do you think this is even a little bit realistic?
of all the Kyoto signers, only the US has actually reduced per capita CO2 emissions. Europe, not so much. Actually they increased theirs.
