You could say–oh–too esoteric to talk about Faction in the political science sense. Not so.

Here’s the point–faction is a nice word for societal, political bullying–bullying makes for censorship/intimidation, and other political effects that corrupt intellectual inquiry and result in the horrors, the nightmares of totalitariansism–usually a badly exaggerated tyranny of the majority or an excessively powerful minority.
