Incidentally I am still waiting for something that says coal ash is toxic or harmful, and nothing more than an inert byproduct of burning a carbonaceous substance.
But it sounds so scary, now that Coal is bad.
My lovely wife grew up in a home that had a coal furnace, and the kids used to go down in the basement and play–she should be dead–right? with all her brothers and sisters.
One of our commenters did say that if a one ton load of coal ash fell on you it would be toxic–even lethal. True.
