Apparently when one is running a scam supported by fanatics, any claim can be made to create a scare.
These people are predicting extraordinary warming for Toronto, and Canada in the face of no historical trend of warming at all. They have no sense.

How do you come up with the statement that “Canada hasn’t had a Dust Bowl at any point in human history“ from? They had an equally severe dust bowl as the US during the 1930’s, only a smaller area.

Talk to farmers in Canada about the length of their growing season and ask them what they think about heat waves. There’s an upper limit of course, but it’s good to remember that Canada hasn’t had a Dust Bowl at any point in human history.
Here in the US Midwest, we’re used to ‘heat waves’, which is terrifically excellent weather for growing corn if there’s enough rainfall. If the average temperature here goes up 2 degrees C, nobody will notice. The daily swings in temperature in the summertime are so extremely beyond that little smidge of heat that it wouldn’t be noticed.
I can tell you ferdamsher that winter cold in the US Midwest is keenly felt. Last winter was wicked cold, and paying for the extra heating was a real burden. We burn wood for heat when it gets bad, and I gotta tell ya, a brief excursion out to the woodpile in minus 14F is nasty, and certainly not for anyone whose health is compromised by any condition.
In short, don’t worry about the heat. The cold is worse.
