Another carbon sink discovered–permafrost

These ninnies get money for helping the warming crusade, so they dredge for theories.

And so many assumptions are requires to make this latest panicky statement–its warming, permafrost is going away–yadayada–they should first take a deep breath, then look at climate for the last 20 years, and ask themselves–what if it’s gonna cool, and carbon dioxide goes down, and the earth is less abundant?
What if.
I am gonna repeat something I saw this past week–Shock Doctrine--it’s a crisis that comes conveniently for ambitious government people and their sponsored researchers–panic/crisis/solution/power all in sequence.

  1. It’s amazing that these folks still promote the bizarre idea that defrosted “permafrost” is a net carbon emitter. Carbon, in the form of plant matter, does NOT accumulate while plants are frozen. Plants grow and increase the mass of carbon-rich materials when they are warm. Warm and growing tundra is a carbon sink. If the permafrost hadn’t accumulated a mass of carbon WHILE THEY WERE WARM, there wouldn’t be any frozen/thawing carbon for the warmists to fuss about.
