History does repeat itself. There is a shocking parallel between the saga of Gideon in Ancient Israel (Judges 6-8) and our present day culture. After Israel rejected God and everyone of His precepts, they were taken over by Midian. First Midian (draconian government) confiscated all of their weapons, (Bloomberg et al). Next they confiscated all of their private property, land, livestock and houses (Keilo, Bundy et al) forcing them into the caves and brush shelters in the mountains. Even there they had to hide the food they had gathered to prevent the Midianites from confiscating it, (N. Korea). Deja vu.
