Markers for Leukemia

A study that shows that Chronic Lymphocyte Leukemia CLL has a marker.

The marker is present long before the leukemia develops. CLL is a chronic, not acute type leukemia, usually not as aggressive and deadly, see more in the elderly. Lymphocytes are a form of blood cell, about 40 percent of the mature white blood cells, seen to increase when the body if fighting viruses. Important in immunity.
This is like the BRCA marker that warns of ovarian cancer.
