Don’t you think that Ukraine is important for more than cultural/political reasons–like maybe that natural gas pipeline to all those European countries?
Talk to me, Marita. Tell me why I can be assured that the Europeans won’t do anything to compromise their natural gas supply coming from Mother Russia, through the Ukraine.
In fact they will be paralyzed. They are finished as a player. Europe has become the museum.

Europe can reduce its dependence on Russian energy by getting away from the lunacy of renewable energy and expediting drilling for its own gas using fracking. Instead, it seems to prefer high gas prices and blackmail.
