USAF in Trouble

My father flew P 51 for the Army Air Corp, 8th Air Force
We have had control of the sky for so long.

Cheatin by Missile Officers? Bad R and D on the F 35?
This ain’t my Dad’s Air Force and this Sec of the Air Force has no business where she is. Good grief, she’s worse than no sec of the Air Force at all. She doesn’t even qualify for the Peter Principle.

  1. Have a good dark one on me. I never saw one. Back in the ’90’s one of my son’s buddies on leave from Army Basic told me that if you got stressed out the DI would give you a 30-minute time out to recover and that he had a stress card in his right front pocket. I told him I actually had a stress card that was good for anyone below the rank of O6 and showed him an ID card that had “LTC” on it. But you are right, I never saw one.

  2. Stress cards in the military are a myth as described. Proof? Everyone’s heard of them, but no one can recall actually seeing one, let alone being issued one.
If there are any active/separated military out there who have a legit one on them right now, I’ll buy you a beer. Well. I’ll buy you one, anyway. Not my fault if you aren’t here to drink it. ^_^

  3. Curtis LeMay must be spinning at high RPM. These folks were hired up to take the stress and cheating on exams should be an immediate career ender. I wonder if all this began when they started passing out stress cards. And for the Secretary of the Air Force to even countenance their being stressed out…
