Many years ago when all night TV started, 1982, I watched a report that every night shift took a day off my life.
I was watching the report at 3 AM. I was alerted. I stopped working nights 2 years ago at age 65. Kinda like retiring.
That certainly was nice to know. I do know that working shift work is stressful. Causes weight gain and all kinds of minor troubles
like indigestion and peptic disease. Also probably increases stress because of sleep cycle disruptions. Circadian rhythms can be disturbed when schedules change.
