So they make a big splash about new recommendations and I don’t see much difference at all.
The recommendations of diastolic/systolic are the same as they were 30 years ago. Keep diastolic below 90 systolic below 140.
For those over 60 years of age, allow for systolic of 150.
Quit the recommendations for more stringent BP rules for diabetics.

My BP is consistently 116/75. Am over 60 so I”m a little worried…not 🙂
If the nurse is hard of hearing my systolic is much closer to my diastolic. The most consistent readings are from machines.
absoluuuuutly not. 115 is good, but top normal is 140.
150 if u be old.
I thought the “new” systolic normal was supposed to be 115?
