I agree, I have the power to control the climate in my hands and will maintain that power as long as the local utility keeps the electricity supply up. The climate on the back porch, I’ve had less success.
Given how sloppy and quasi-inverted the modern usage of the word “science” has become, it looks like we need a new word. Most of the time I hear “science” it really means “deliberate and proud nescience”.
When liberals found that people opposing the ideas of liberty started calling themselves liberals, they became libertarians.
It seems to be counter-productive to continue to spend time saying, “No, this is not science”.
