Richard Muller writes in the NYTimes:
For all of its warnings, and despite a steady escalation of greenhouse gas emissions into the atmosphere, the planet’s average surface temperature has remained pretty much the same for the last 15 years.

BRAD What is a quality controlled version? Is it the same as Dr. Muller used, I wonder?
I downloaded a quality controlled version of Dr. Muller’s data. I plotted the temperatures for the stations. I started looking at the temperatures from each station. According to Muller et al, 2/3 of all sites show increasing temperature trends.
I have found increasing trends in individual stations, but I can’t say it is anywhere close to 2/3… Maybe 1 / 10.
