The Sierra Club supports the World Bank move to stop the only practical means of global electrification.
Sierra Club chief Michael Brune writes in the Guardian:
So, if the World Bank is going to succeed in its mission to fight poverty, it must shift resources away from large-scale fossil fuel projects. And it must invest, instead, in the off-grid technology that can deliver power to rural areas today.
Does the Sierra Club use green energy to power their offices? Probably not but the important thing is to do as I say, not as I do.
“And it must invest, instead, in the off-grid technology that can deliver power to rural areas today.”
So the Sierra Club wants to mandate that impoverished people throughout the world use the same technology as Doomsday Preppers. Preppers, of course, are routinely attacked by for making their own individual choices to use this technology in the event it is needed.
But the Sierras, and their government-control friends, claim it is proper to FORCE people to live in doomsday scenarios.
They will probably be rewarded by the White House for this outrageous and criminal idea.
If I were them, I’d be careful about drawing attention to this kind of thinking. They think it’s a feature, but right now they’re not aware of how the unconverted see them.
The Sierra Club has never cared about the poor and this is just another example.
