Maryland Guv to save planet; Plans to cut state CO2 emissions by 25% by 2020

The Associated Press reports:

Gov. Martin O’Malley is scheduled to release a greenhouse gas reduction plan.

The governor is attending a summit on climate change in Linthicum Heights on Thursday.

O’Malley, a Democrat, hopes to reduce greenhouse gas emissions 25 percent in the state by 2020.

  1. I’m a current Maryland resident and will be helping him out by moving to Virginia in a couple of years to escape Martin McMoney’s taxes and regulations. I’m sure there are thousands more just like me.

  2. Lunacy piled onto lunacy. How are these bozos ever going to be held accountable for the vast amounts of money they’ve channeled into their chums’ coffers? Every time we bring forward solid evidence their CO2-induced global warming idea is not supported by objective science, they shift the argument, lie some more, or just ignore the evidence.

  3. This is the same state government that believes it beneficial and more economical to operate natural gas fired school boilers on the Easter Shore with energy from chicken manure. The folks buying into this seem surprised that they are now subject to, among other things, stringent particulate controls.
