They are cute and they gender sympathy and attention. Wyo Wildlife used coneys for the same purpose a few years ago,
My dad, an Italian migrant to Australia, used to go out hunting for the little critters..then it was outlawed even though rabbits are in plague proportions. Go figure.
Seem to be thriving around my place, seen more bunnies this year then in the past. Also realize that there is a breeding cycle for bunnies with population peaks and declines
‘Climate change’ is no threat to the bunnies of Australia, much to the chagrin of all of Oz.
