Like all modern scientists, climate scientists specialize which necessarily limits their expertise — e.g., Michael Mann specializes in diving global temperatures from tree rings, a far different sort of climatologist than, say, Roy Spencer and John Christy and their satellite expertise.

  1. WaPo has been spot on sometimes with their Pinnochios and way off with other calls. As a result, they have no credibility with me at least.
