“A new NASA study says global warming could “increase the risk for extreme rainfall and drought.” We’ve heard this sort of threat many times before and, no, there’s nothing to see here.”

Climate alarmist predictions have fallen into two categories so far: the ones that didn’t happen and the ones that would happen regardless of climate changes. The planet has drought areas and flood areas every year, tropical storms and heat and cold.
As for increases in extremes, there’s no measurement that supports the idea that this is occuring. If anything, the extremes appear to be fewer. That may be less of a blessing than it looks on the surface. I don’t know what role tropical storms play in the normal rain cycle of the Plains, but the dearth of hurricanes could be an element in recent Plains drought. Does anyone with more information than I have offer an opinion?
Stop it.
