And here, less than five years on, is what he is saying now:
“Although I think the evidence that the climate is changing is now overwhelming, the causes are not absolutely clear. There could be natural causes, natural phases that are taking place.”
The whole global warming story is falling apart. First CAGW is proved to be untenable. Now with the UK admission that warming since 1860 cannot be shown to be statistically significant, the A in AGW is out the door. Recent revelations that as much as 50% of the warming of the last half of the 20th century may be spurious and even GW may be an at risk proposition.
