The Boston Globe editorializes:
Efforts to bully the EPA into lowering pollution standards are aggressive enough that when Obama nominated McCarthy to head the agency, in March, she was greeted with 1,100 written questions, mostly from Republicans.
I didn’t realize that legitimate questions in the form of letters amounted to “bullying”. After all, it’s not as if she has to answer the letters all at once. Surely, the writers don’t expect an immediate answer?
Someone will have to explain to me how heat is getting into the deep ocean without leaving a trace of its passing through the upper ocean, i.e. 0 to 700 meters depth. The most likely source would appear to be heat from the Earth’s molten core is leaking into the deep ocean. I do not believe that anyone could blame that on carbon dioxide.
