Environmentalism is about power and money now. The only green they are interested in is the long green. They are a very destructive bunch now.
The fact that they used a CFL bulb in the experiment may or may not be meaningful, since the experiment does little more than state the obvious. The Green Left likes Green Left bu11$|-|!+ and conservatives don’t.
“As Patrick Moore, a co-founder of Greenpeace, explains, the ‘80s ushered in the age of environmental extremism. The basic issues, for which he and Greenpeace fought, had largely been accomplished, and the general public was in agreement with the primary message. In order for the environmentalists to remain employed, they had to adopt ever more extreme positions. Moore says: “What happened is environmental extremism. They’ve abandoned science and logic altogether.”
Their message today is “anti:” anti-human, anti-science, anti-technology, anti-trade and globalization, anti-business and capitalism, and ultimately, anti-civilization.”
You can tell a man who boozes by the company he chooses…environmental activists have embraced so many bad things that the whole concept is in trouble. Which is sad; good stewardship is still valuable.
There is real environmentalism and there is real climate science. The sins committed in their names will be problems for them for a looong time.
An interesting study- but incomplete. Many people know that CFLs are loaded with mercury. The EPA has rules against mercury but not here? I have eight grandkids, and CFLs are not welcome in my home. It has nothing to do with politics.
