Ben, it looks like the academy will be more lock step in the future than it is now.
I don’t think these guys have yet to deny they can control the climate, so they are not total deniers. They also deny that 15+ years of no warming is significant while denying that the most recent storm is weather rather than climate.

Yep, I’ll agree. It’s sad to see Mann, Hansen, and company contort the evidence to deny the existence of natural climate change. The more hockey sticks they manufacture, dang the clear evidence of large natural climatic oscilations, the sadder I get. It makes me sad for science, for research, and it makes me sad for what my little girl is going to inherit. If she chooses to go into research, will she have to lie? Toe the line and bow before the altar of climate change like Galileo, mouthing “but it changes” as she walks away?
