Even if the Marcott paper were 100% true, all the media releases failed to make any note of the (400 year) spike back 11,300 years ago, while calling the current rise “unprecedented.” The current rise isn’t a mirror image and only took about 1/3 the time, but is obviously not unprecedented. A few more ten thousand year records might make or break their case?
