Did Gina McCarthy cut a deal with Senate GOP for EPA administrator job? Confirmation for delay in the power plant emission rules

Inquiring minds want to know.

Possibly more important than destroying the fossil fuel industry to Gina McCarthy is becoming EPA administrator. Trading delay in a legally dubious rule is a no-brainer.

Also, note that major enviro groups (who would no doubt be clued in to such a deal) have so far entirely contained the outrage with which they would ordinarily be lighting up the Internet.
