What a shame. He used to be very good at exposing idiots who thought and spoke the way he does now. I used to enjoy him greatly and wished I had a fraction of his ability to think straight.
This global warming affair, being an authority game, has an interesting outcome of causing many recognised authorities to fall from their thrones. Bill Maher is just one in a long series, and there is no end in sight.
I was devastated to see Aoife McLysaght join their number recently. She is so smart, so beautiful, so good at her own thing (genetics, evolution, biology in general). She can talk about these things so well. What was it that made her fail like this:
It is heartbreaking to see such a worderful creature join the virtual company of types like Bobby Rush, who, being almost too frail to speak (as we have seen during the KXL House hearing today), continues to use his mumbling speech organ to channel second-hand propaganda. Just imagine, the poor little feller is going to die with a load of rubbish in his ossified brain. Pity.
Never mind Bobby Rush — I would expect that of an ex-Panther theologian, and, more broadly, from any Chicago politician I know. But what is it that makes even the brightest people fall for the same crap so reliably and irreversibly, without any reservations, and, it seems, without giving it any thought at all?
I got a question for Bill Maher. If there was a debate about global warming, regardless of the outcome, then you can show me the video. Tell us who the participants were. Show us the transcript. Let us all know who was on the panel and how they were chosen.
The only thing I know about Maher is what I read about him. I watched him once or twice for short periods and decided he wasn’t worth wasting my time. I suppose he does this for publicity. He says absolutely stupid things and folks get the vapors and he gets lot’s of publicity.
What was Feyman’s famous quote? “Science is the belief that experts are ignorant”.
And it’s a truly sad commentary that many people think Maher is funny, as well. “I’m pro-choice, I’m for assisted suicide, I’m for regular suicide, I’m for whatever gets the freeway moving–that’s what I’m for . . . It’s too crowded, the planet is too crowded and we need to promote death.”

Maher is just a conceded boob. He really is full of himself and looks down on anyone who disagrees with him. These kangaroo courts that he sets up are rigged. Let him have Freeman Dyson on his show and we will see how smart Maher really is.
Therefore, the world is flat and the sun revolves around the earth.
