Actuaries: Global warming will barely affect insurance premiums — 0.5% per year

“In a submission to [an Australian] Senate inquiry into the nation’s preparedness for extreme weather events, the institute predicts that consistent with the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change’s mid-range warning on global warming, climate change is likely to add about 0.5 per cent a year to insurance costs.”

  1. It should make insurance premiums less, because the modest amount of warming the the SCIENCE ACTUALLY JUSTIFIES will be an unmitigated boon to all life.
