I don’t see that winter is in any danger at this point. Cold and snow are everywhere. Perhaps they could try Alaska for the Olympics–I read it was really cold and snowy there.
We would be able to feed more people with longer growing seasons across the fertile plains.
These people are being selfish because they want to be able to continue playing their snow games!
But seriously, we can really affect the planet’s temperatures? Right!!!
These Olympians also have the same kind of “diversity” problem the big-time enviro groups do. Not to mention that most of them live in some really nice places. 😉 They should stick to matters of timing their runs – the only measurement they truly understand.
