The numbers appear to be increasing. Not long ago we were talking about the warmest July ever, then it was the fifth warmest something or another. Now we are hearing about the ninth warmest Feb. Soon we will be hearing about the 41st warmest something.
Every time they make a statement like this, it comes under scrutiny over at WUWT, resulting in a quiet retraction some weeks later.
We just read in the paper that February here was 2 degrees colder than normal and precip was slightly above normal. State Highway snow removal man hours increased about 1/3 in February over last year.
