I was watching a documentary on science research in the Arctic. A one point, the researchers had to wait for the polar bears to leave before research could continue. That did not sound like “diminished” numbers to me.
I believe you understand!
And presumably far fewer seals!
CFACT should have used a more up-to-date figure for today’s polar bear count. A literature count by region shows that there are at least 34,000 polar bears in the Arctic today.
Sort of like GW Bush’s “jobless” recovery, when unemployment went under 5%, compared to Obama’s “thriving” 7.7%.
