Okay, Skeeter, write a damn bill and send it to Congress for consideration. Do your part, and Congress will do their part. Until you have done your part, slurs against Congress are asinine. Speechifying is not doing.
Mr. Nugent is correct that nothing proposed in the wake of Aurora or Newtown would have stopped the tragedies in Aurora or Newtown.
“Gabby Gifford deserves a vote” on these proposals, perhaps, but so do I and so does Mr. Nugent.
