  1. As we commented here when the number first came up, we have yet to confirm any loss of life or of real estate due to global warming. Weather events have resulted in loss of life and damage to shorelines, but weather ain’t climate and we have no good links between a theoretical and small warming of the atmosphere and any serious weather events.
