Ach! Alles ist bescheissen! And it also seemed as if the reporter was looking to blame the increased coal use on natgas from hydraulic fracturing in the US. In Germany, they clearly didn’t think though where they would get their baseload from. Closing nuke plants and subsidizing roof top photovoltaics out the wazoo just can’t cut it for baseload. I believe the appellation, FOOLS, is in order.
