Poverty — not more or less rain — is the problem in Bangladesh.
“Rising sea levels could flood 17 per cent of the country — or erode the land — and create between 20 million and 30 million refugees, experts say.” [The Star]

Bangladesh has had a problem with monsoons forever. the storms funnel up onto the river delta and flood the lands sending hundreds of thousands of people (or more) fleeing to higher ground. then the waters recede and people rush back to reclaim land and resume their farmng etc. this has been going on even before the period of “global warming” and probably will continue far into the future. blaming this on climate change is absurd.
